Already eligible? The first Dot is included—go try it. The $100 Pro price buys the whole ChatGPT plan, not a Dot subscription, and extra Dot pricing is still unreleased.

Which plans include Dots?

The first Dot is included with eligible Pro and Business Premium plans. Enterprise, Edu, and Healthcare workspaces can try the beta if an admin enables it. Rollout varies by market and account, so the same plan name does not guarantee the same button today. OpenAI Help Center

What “included” means

Included means no extra Dot charge. It does not mean a free ChatGPT plan; Business Premium admins also control whether the beta is switched on.

US ChatGPT plan prices

ChatGPT Pro costs $100 or $200 per month in the US, and either eligible tier includes your first Dot. At $200 a month, you’d hope the Pro allowance eats like a big leaguer. If it feels like it’s on a diet, that’s a Pro gripe—not a Dots fee.

How usage works

Dots has a deeper-work allowance, with extended limits during its first month. OpenAI has not published a task count or explained how every kind of work counts, so there’s no honest per-task price to calculate yet.

After month one

The launch boost lasts one month. OpenAI hasn’t announced the later task limit or a price for extra Dots. If you’re budgeting, use the plan price you can see and leave the mystery math out of it.

Can you calculate a cost per task?

Not yet. OpenAI hasn’t published a task allowance or counting rule. A precise cost-per-task figure would be guesswork in a spreadsheet costume.
